‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ recap: This one goes out to baby Jesus on his birfday
The longest Christmas ever finally came to a close last night and I hope baby Jesus had one heck of a birthday.
We left off last week with Joe and Melissa Gorga debating whether to leave the Giudice’s Christmas Eve party to celebrate with Kathy and Rich. Teresa is pissed and won’t give up without a fight, even bringing the kids into it, but in the end her brother chooses her “evil” cousin Kathy over his sister.
But on to more important things – what sorts of lavish gifts did the housewives get for Christmas?
Ashley tops this year’s naughty list, although she got a car instead of a lump of coal, as she decides not to get anything for Jacqueline and Chris this year. She also didn’t get Jac anything for Mother’s Day.
Does she at least have some remorse? Why did I even bother asking – of course she didn’t.
Meanwhile, over at the Gorga house, Melissa and Joe have gone all out on presents for the kids.
“If we couldn’t do it, we wouldn’t do it,” Melissa explains about going “over the top” on gifts. “But we can because it’s for Jesus’ birthday and I’m willing to spend the money.”
And you know what baby Jesus was begging for this year? Louis Vuitton luggage, rhinestone-encrusted stilettos, a gold rolex and an at-home recording studio.
Duh.
